Every change
Everything that changed in NestFit, newest first.
NestFit 1.41
24 Oct 2026
- NestFit has a new address for good: nestfit-app.pages.dev. Log in with the email and password you already use, and your data comes along.
- Logging in takes a moment longer: your password is now protected on your phone before it is sent.
- Today's session can always be changed on Train: following your weekly split too, and the one you did last time can be picked again.
- Rearrange your split: drag a day by the grip on its left and the workouts slide into place, the weekdays stay put.
NestFit 1.40
24 Oct 2026
- The apps moved to a new address. Accounts did not move with them: create your account again, and what is on this device stays.
- The top bar and the menu say the full name now.
NestFit 1.39
24 Oct 2026
- Fixed: on a laptop, the mouse wheel scrolls the page from anywhere, also over the side menu and the top bar.
NestFit 1.38
24 Oct 2026
- Fixed: on a laptop or a tablet, Today scrolls, so you can reach the bottom of it without going fullscreen.
- The command palette button is gone from the top bar. Ctrl+K still opens it.
NestFit 1.37
23 Oct 2026
- On a laptop or a tablet, NestFit has a side menu and Today is a dashboard: your workout and the muscles it trains, your week, a consistency grid, sets by muscle and your latest PRs.
- Train, Split, Fuel and Body use the width too, and a lift, the library and History open in a panel on the right. The phone stays as it was.
- Fixed: workouts and weigh-ins are dated by your own clock. Late evening workouts were sometimes filed under the next day.
- Fixed: a streak no longer drops to 0 until you train that day, and Body counts which muscles each workout trained.
- Fixed: the weight trend reads weekly weigh-ins properly, and dates and numbers read the same everywhere.
NestFit 1.36
23 Oct 2026
- Band exercises log the band instead of a weight: Extra light, Light, Medium, Heavy or Extra heavy. Switch Band on for any exercise in its sheet. Your target tells you when to move up a band.
- A One side switch, for exercises done one arm or one leg at a time. The numbers are for each side, and NestCore counts them that way.
- Open a workout in History and a small PR marks the set that beat your best on that exercise.
NestFit 1.35
22 Oct 2026
- Every set has a small note mark under its number. Tap it to write a note, like how the set felt or what to change next time.
- History: every workout you have finished, by month, with each set and note. Filter it by month or by exercise. Open it from Recent sessions on Train, or search for it.
- Every workout is kept. Before, only the last 60 were.
- More exercises light up the muscle map, including ones written differently from the library. A new exercise asks which muscles it works.
NestFit 1.34
16 Oct 2026
- A change in weight is green when it moves you towards your goal weight and red when it moves you away.
- The weight trend is a line graph, with your goal as a dashed line.
- The app no longer drags up and down as a whole.
- Not sure what an effort number means? Tap the small question mark next to EFFORT.
NestFit 1.33
15 Oct 2026
- The Split page shows your week at a glance, and each day reads more clearly, with a pencil to edit it.
NestFit 1.32
15 Oct 2026
- The remove button in the lift sheet is smaller and quieter, so it does not pull your eye.
NestFit 1.31
15 Oct 2026
- Removing an exercise from a workout asks in the sheet, with Keep and Remove, instead of a pop-up.
NestFit 1.30
15 Oct 2026
- Tapping a weight, reps or time field selects the number in it, so what you type replaces it instead of landing in front of it.
NestFit 1.29
15 Oct 2026
- Swiping the rest timer up works properly now, from anywhere on it, the handle included. A quick flick is enough.
NestFit 1.28
15 Oct 2026
- The setup question about sex now offers Other as well as Rather not say. Your sex and age now also set the levels on Strength by muscle.
NestFit 1.27
12 Oct 2026
- Nine lifts added to the exercise library: T's, Y's, I's, band rear delt, band pull apart, internal and external rotation, isometric bicep holds and a slow cable curl for tendon rehab.
NestFit 1.26
12 Oct 2026
- The add button on today's card in Split shows its text again, and the thin scroll bar at the edge of the screen is gone.
NestFit 1.25
12 Oct 2026
- The apps moved to a new address. Accounts did not move with them: create your account again, and what is on this device stays.
NestFit 1.24
12 Oct 2026
- Swipe the rest timer up, or press Hide, to put it away without ending your rest. It keeps counting in a small pill at the top; tap the pill to bring it back.
NestFit 1.23
12 Oct 2026
- A new device starts with a welcome that asks you to log in or create an account. It used to ask for a secret sync key. Sync keys still work, from Settings.
NestFit 1.22
12 Oct 2026
- Changed the exercises during a workout? When you finish, the app asks whether that day should keep the new list or go back to the old one next time.
NestFit 1.21
12 Oct 2026
- The exercise library has a Confirm button at the bottom. Tap + on what you want, then Confirm.
- You can take an exercise out of a workout in progress: open it and tap Remove from this workout. It asks first.
NestFit 1.20
12 Oct 2026
- Settings has a switch for warm-up sets. Turn it off and the lift sheet stops suggesting warm-up weights before a barbell lift.
NestFit 1.19
12 Oct 2026
- Logging a bodyweight lift such as pull-ups: the set rows are no longer white.
- The old loading screen is gone. It used to show after the startup animation while the app waited for the server.
- Staying signed in: the app could ask for a new login token several times at once, which can end the session early. It asks once now.
NestFit 1.18
11 Oct 2026
- What’s new no longer comes back every time you open the app. It shows once per release, per device.
- Your phone no longer offers to fill in your password when you open the app.
- The home screen fits one screen and does not scroll. To beat, Fuel and the last session are on their own pages.
- Zooming is off.
NestFit 1.17
11 Oct 2026
- The startup animation plays every time the app opens. On a phone it was skipped after the first open, and the old loading screen showed in its place.
NestFit 1.16
11 Oct 2026
- A new look: a warm dark ground with an orange light, one typeface, and nothing smaller than 12 px.
- Today shows the body figure lit for the whole session, with the muscles named under it, and the dates under the week bars.
- During a session the sets done are a ring, and the sheet a lift opens has big fields, a 56 px tick with the next set marked, and last time under each set.
- A new, shaded muscle figure. It also now shows for every lift in the default split: sixteen of them were spelled differently from the muscle table and showed nothing.
- The coach button lives in the top bar instead of floating over the content. The dock names its five places.
NestFit 1.15
9 Oct 2026
- Progress: finding a lift is quick now. The lifts you trained most recently sit in a row above the chart, one tap each.
- Find a lift opens every lift you have logged, with a search box, muscle groups and three orders: recent, most trained, A to Z. Each one shows its best, how often you trained it, and whether it is going up.
- Tap the star to pin a lift. Pinned lifts stay at the front of the row and the list.
- Every lift is in there now. Band work, sit-ups and timed holds were missing before. They are tracked by best reps or longest hold.
- The strength chart is drawn in your unit. In pounds, the line used to be in kilograms while the numbers under it were in pounds.
- A lift typed with different capitals is one lift, not two.
- Opening the app for the first time goes straight to the introduction. The main screen used to flash up for a moment first.
- The old loading screen no longer shows through at the end of the startup animation. The animation clears straight into the app.
NestFit 1.14
24 Sep 2026
- Used the app before the September move? Log in, open Settings and tap Bring back data from the old app. Type your old sync key and your training history comes back. Nothing is deleted, and it only fills an account that is still empty.
- Added to an iPhone home screen, the icon is called NestFit. It still said BATCAVE, a name from long ago.
- This What's new panel says NestFit at the top instead of NestCore, and your data export is named after NestFit too.
- You can delete your account in Settings. It removes everything in it, on every device, and your login. Type DELETE to confirm.
- New accounts are for people aged 13 and over. The month and year you were born are checked on your device and never saved.
- The terms, the privacy policy and a page with every change are linked at the bottom of Settings.
- A new look when the app opens: the name draws itself in light, then clears into the app. Tap to skip it. It plays once each time you open the app.
- A new icon. A phone keeps the old picture until the app is removed from the home screen and added again. Removing it can erase what the app saved on that phone, so only do it after Settings, Export backup, or once you are logged in and synced.
- An About page for each app, in the new shared look, linked from Settings.
NestFit 1.13
18 Sep 2026
- Logging in and syncing work again. Both apps moved to new web addresses after an outage, and NestFit was still looking for your account at NestCore's old one, so every login said it could not reach the server. It asks the right place now.
NestFit 1.12
13 Sep 2026
- Setup no longer lets you carry on past a question you have not answered. CONTINUE stays off until you pick something, tick at least one day or type a number that makes sense, and if a number is out of range it says what range it wants. Nothing is picked for you in advance any more, apart from the units used where you live and the full equipment list. Optional questions can still be skipped.
- Running setup again could let you tick all seven days after choosing five. Setups saved before the day limit existed had stored seven, which is not one of the choices, so the question showed nothing picked and the day grid allowed seven. Answers like that are asked again now, and ticking more days than your number stops CONTINUE and says how many to untap.
NestFit 1.11
13 Sep 2026
- One way around the app. The dock at the bottom is the only navigation now, on a phone and on a computer, and each of its five buttons opens exactly one page. No second row of tabs repeating the dock inside Train and Fuel, and no menu across the top of a computer in a different order.
- Progress is part of Body now, under your weight: the strength tracker, which muscles you have been training and your recent sessions. Your body weight chart shows once instead of twice.
- Page titles match the dock: Train, Split, Fuel and Body. On a computer the title is back at the top of each page, and the last card no longer sits under the dock.
NestFit 1.10
11 Sep 2026
- Re-running setup now starts from your answers instead of a blank form. Your goal, your equipment, your session length and the lifts you left out are all there, ready to change. It is editing now, not starting again.
- The weight chart shows a fortnight with the noise taken out of it, instead of seven raw readings. Day to day weight is mostly water, and a chart of that teaches you to react to nothing.
- It also tells you what the line means. How much is left, how fast you are actually moving, and whether that reaches the date you set. It will tell you when the date is not going to happen, which is worth knowing in week three rather than week twelve.
- A short buzz when you tick a set off, so you do not have to pick the phone up to check it registered.
NestFit 1.9
11 Sep 2026
- Setup stops ignoring the number of days you asked for. Saying five days and then tapping all seven used to quietly give you a seven day programme. Now it stops at five, tells you it has, and you can untap one to swap it for another day.
- Picking fewer days than you said still works and still shrinks the programme to fit, because four days you will actually turn up for beats five you will not.
- New option for anyone whose week is never the same twice. Shift work, changing hours, a sport season. Turn off set days and NestFit gives you the sessions without pinning them to a weekday, then you pick the one you are doing when you get to the gym.
NestFit 1.8
8 Sep 2026
- The app works offline now. It was always supposed to: the part that makes it work shipped months ago but was never switched on, so until today every visit needed a connection.
- Its own icon. NestFit and NestCore were installing with the same one, so on your home screen there was no telling them apart.
- On iPhone the dock, the setup buttons and the coach button no longer sit over the home indicator, and nothing hides under the dock at the bottom of a page.
- A rest day is a rest day. It was offering to start a workout made of walking, and asking you to beat your record at stretching.
- Smaller things: today’s card in your split is readable again, the last session says yesterday rather than a date stamp, the week chart no longer fills itself from a single session, and the dock stops glowing on a tab you have left.
NestFit 1.7
8 Sep 2026
- The app notices things now. Come back after a break and it says so, and starts you lighter for a week instead of handing you the numbers you left behind.
- It also tells you when your last few sessions have been brutal, or when a bulk has not moved the scale in a month. At most two things, only when they are true, and never just to have something to say.
- One tap after a session to say how it went. Easy, right, hard, rough.
NestFit 1.6
8 Sep 2026
- New navigation. One floating dock instead of a tab row at the top and a bar at the bottom: Today, Train, Split, Fuel, Body.
- The white pill slides to whatever you tapped and the page slides underneath it on the same curve, so it reads as one movement.
- Settings moved to the gear in the top bar. Five icons is the most a thumb can hit reliably across a phone.
NestFit 1.5
7 Sep 2026
- New muscle diagram, drawn properly. Every lift shows what it trains on a real anatomy figure, front and back.
- What a lift works mainly goes white. What it works partially goes a lighter grey. Everything else stays dark, so one glance tells you what a session covers.
NestFit 1.4
7 Sep 2026
- Carbs and fat now follow your goal instead of using the same split for everyone. A bulk leans on carbs, a cut holds fat higher for fullness, endurance gets the most carbs of all.
- Bulk and lean bulk are separate choices now. Bulk gains faster and accepts some fat with it.
- The setup summary explains the split rather than just printing two numbers.
- Your fat target can no longer be squeezed below the level that keeps hormones healthy, however deep the deficit goes. That was possible before.
NestFit 1.3
7 Sep 2026
- Fixed, and this one mattered: the plate helper was telling you to load the wrong weight. A 185 lb bench read as 10, 5 and 2.5 per side instead of 45 and 25. It is correct now, in both pounds and kilos.
- Warmup sets. Every barbell lift now shows the ramp up to your working weight, with the exact plates to hang on each side for every step.
- There is a coach in here now. Tap the button above the nav bar. It reads your log, your split and your last five sessions, and it talks in numbers rather than encouragement.
- Leaving a lift out now asks why. Prefer not to do it removes that one lift. No kit removes everything needing that equipment. Injury removes the whole movement, dumbbell and machine versions included. It tells you what it will use instead.
- Your weekly split is now built by the same scheduler the tests cover. Four days a week gives you Lower, Upper, Lower, Upper with recovery spaced properly, rather than whatever the old template said.
NestFit 1.2
7 Sep 2026
- Fixed: setup no longer asks for your bench number after you have told it you do not bench. If you leave a lift out, or you have no barbell, it stops asking about it.
- If none of the lifts it would normally ask about apply to you, it says so and moves on instead of showing you an empty form.
NestFit 1.1
7 Sep 2026
- Kilograms or pounds, your choice. Settings, Profile, Units. Everything follows it: your log, your targets, your plate maths.
- Switching is safe. Nothing you have logged moves, it is just shown differently, and you can switch back as often as you like.
- Your existing training history was converted once and checked set by set. Every weight reads exactly as you logged it.
- Setup now asks which units you use before anything else, and asks your height in feet and inches if that is what you think in.
- Fixed: new setups were not filling in any starting weights, so every lift asked you to calibrate on the first set. They come through properly now, rounded to weights your gym actually has.
NestFit 1.0
30 Aug 2026
- NestFit is its own app now. Training, nutrition and body weight, without the rest of NestCore around it.
- Same account and the same data. Log a set here and it shows up on your NestCore dashboard, and the other way round.
- Your daily score is scored on what this app covers: calories, protein and whether you trained.
